Dr. Peter B. Fodor, a Los Angeles plastic surgeon, said, "Men want it all in done in one day - face, nose, body." They are more likely to find their doctors on the internet, he added, because they don't like to ask advice about doctors any more than they like to ask directions when they are driving.

The biggest danger with men, aesthetically, is doing too much and feminizing them.

Consider the other macho types applying for nips and tucks and liposuction."I've done policemen, body builders and prison guards," said Dr. Fodor. Most of them came for liposuction and abdominal etching, the suctioning of the abdominal muscles in a special Ninja-Ranger pattern that makes a man look as if he's completed 2,000 sit-ups. One guard, said Dr. Fodor, wanted "to impress the men in the gym, to show that his workout had been successful."
